SHELTER ADVOCATE
Posted 11.2025
The Shelter Advocate role is a hands-on, heart-driven position where every day you make a meaningful difference in the lives of survivors. You'll be the go-to support person in the shelter -- helping identify goals, connecting to vital community resources, and ensuring the environment feels safe, welcoming and empowering. One moment you may be providing crisis intervention or completing a new survivor's orientation, and the next you're organizing supplies or out shopping. If you love helping others, staying active, and being part of a mission that changes lives every single day, this position brings both the excitement and impact you're looking for!
The Community Education Coordinator is a vibrant, fast-paced role that blends education, advocacy and community connection. You'll plan engaging events, lead trainings, build partnerships with schools, hospitals, law enforcement and local organizations, while representing TCHC throughout the community. Every day brings something new with opportunities to collaborate, travel to multiple sites, support crisis response and participate in statewide initiatives. This role is perfect for someone who loves people, enjoys meaningful outreach and wants to make a real impact supporting TCHC's mission!
